The flat plate lifting socket is ideal for using in thin concrete elements such as slabs and shells. To transmit the load into the concrete, additional reinforcing must be utilized. They are available in both zinc-plated and stainless steel finishes.
Chontan Flat Plate Lifting Sockets are ideal for shallow precast concrete units. The height of these sockets allows them to be placed in the shallow dimension of slab and terrace units. These sockets must be used with additional reinforcement to transfer loads into the surrounding concrete.
