Erection Head Anchor with Shear Plate
Chontan Erection Head Anchor with Shear Plate is designed and used in the same way as the R11 Erection Head Anchor, but it adds an additional shear plate to give more shear capabilities and avoid the need for a shear bar. It is intended to avoid concrete spalling during the lifting process by controlling the rotation of the ring clutch.

Erection Head Anchor with Shear Plate Description:
Chontan Erection Head Anchor with Shear Plate is designed for horizontal to vertical edge lifting and handling of thin-walled precast elements. The two"ears"on the head of the anchor prevent the clutch from coming in contact and spalling the concrete. The"ears"transfer the shear loads into the anchor and concrete. The shear bar is not required with this anchor. A tension bar is required to achieve any tension capacity. Available in 2T, 4T and 8-Ton capacities.
