Formwork Hot Rolled Tie Rod DETAILS

If you need custom sizes of concrete tie rods, you can find them here. We offer steel threaded rods with diameters ranging from 6mm to 32mm. The most common sizes are d15mm, d16mm, and d20mm. These tie rods work with inner threaded tie rod connectors and other accessories, such as concrete tie couplings, tie rod hex nuts, anchor nut, wing nut, water stopper, formwork cones, etc.

There are two types of threaded rods in Trico: discontinuous dywidag bars and continuous tie bars. The dywidag bars are hot rolled, while the continuous rods are cold rolled.

The cold-rolled rods are made from a round steel bar structure with different steel grades, such as Q235, 45#, and 42CrMo. The steel grade affects the strength of the tie rods. For example, for D16(15/17mm) size:

Q235 steel grade D16 tie rod can withstand a maximum load of 95KN.

45# steel grade D16 tie rod can withstand a maximum load of 145KN

42CrMo steel grade D16 tie rod can withstand a maximum load of 188KN.

Die kaltgewalzten Stäbe sind günstiger und kostengünstiger als die warmgewalzten Dywidag-Stäbe. Sie eignen sich für übliche Hoch- und Gewerbebauten. Die Dywidag-Stäbe sind für schwerere und größere Lasten ausgelegt.

Formwork tie rod is a key accessory for poured wall projects. Chontan offer various kinds of concrete tie rods, such as Hot Rolled discontinuous thread tie rod (with 180kn breaking load) and Cold Rolled continuous tie rods (with 140kn breaking load). 

The concrete tie rods can work with many formwork accessories in concrete construction. Both hot rolled and cold rolled tie rods can be used with formwork wing nuts, concrete anchor nuts, hex nuts, connection nuts, washer plates, formwork wedge clamps, formwork spring clamps, water stopper/water barrier nut, combi plate nut, plastic cones, plastic tubes, etc.

Tie Nut: We have different types of tie nuts, such as single wing nut, butterfly wing nut, two anchor wing nut, three anchor wing nut, and combination wing nut. They can be easily tightened and loosened by hand without tools because of their winged structure. 
They are made by casting or forging processes and have common thread sizes of 17mm/20mm. 

Tie Rod: The Tie Rod is usually made of Q235 carbon steel or 45# steel, and has a surface finish of galvanized, zinc-plated, or natural color. It has a working load ranging from 80kn to 140kn. We also provide Hot Rolled Tie Bar, which has a breaking load of 180kn. 

Washer Plate: The standard sizes we offer are 120x120x10mm, 120x120x8mm, 120x110x10mm, 100x100x10mm, and we can also customize other sizes according to your needs.
